- 2 slices BreadBread
- 1/2 cup, or 3 deli slices Cooked turkey or leftover ground turkeyMeat
- 1/3 cup Shredded cheeseDairy
- 1 teaspoon Olive oilPantry
Do this
- 1Heat a skillet on medium-low. Low-ish heat melts cheese before the bread burns.
- 2Build the sandwich: bread, half the cheese, turkey, rest of the cheese, bread. Cheese on both sides is glue.
- 3Add oil to the pan. Lay the sandwich in. Press with a spatula. Cook 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden.
- 4Flip carefully. Cook 2–3 more minutes. If the bread is brown but the cheese is shy, lid the pan (or a plate) for 30 seconds.
- 5Cut it. Wait 20 seconds so you do not lose the roof of your mouth. Worth it.
